Getting started
What is Navigrate?
A dispatch board for field-service teams. Schedule jobs, assign them to technicians, and avoid long, wasteful drives: as you book, Navigrate estimates the drive from the tech's last stop and flags anything past your limit, so you can pick a better time or a different technician.
Who is Navigrate for?
Small field-service and trade businesses (built for 2–10 technicians, plans up to 25) whose technicians drive between customer sites: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance repair, handyman/general maintenance, cleaning, pest control, landscaping, snow removal, and similar.
Do I need to install anything?
No — Navigrate runs in your web browser, including your phone's browser.
How do I get started?
(1) Add your technicians (name, trade, vehicle ID, coverage area, and home base). (2) Create bookings. (3) Watch for high-drive flags and move those jobs to a better time or technician.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a 14-day free trial with full features and up to 3 technicians, no credit card required. When it ends, choose a paid plan.
How the drive-time features work
What is a "high-drive flag"?
When a job's estimated drive time is above your chosen limit, Navigrate flags it so you can consider a different time or technician before committing.
What can I do when a job is flagged?
Go back, change the time or the technician, and analyze the booking again before you save. A flagged booking can still be saved if the long drive is worth it.
What is the "high-drive threshold," and can I change it?
Yes — in Settings, the Maximum High-Drive Threshold slider sets the minutes of drive time before a job is flagged.
Does Navigrate use real maps and drive times?
Partly. Navigrate uses Google Maps for addresses and the day map, but the drive-time flag is a fast estimate from distance and typical urban speed — a planning check to catch obviously-long trips before you book, not turn-by-turn navigation.
What does "Analyze Route" do?
When booking, it checks that job's drive time against your settings and tells you if it's high-drive before you save.
Technicians & scheduling
How do I add a technician?
Technicians → Add technician; enter name, trade, home base address, vehicle ID, and coverage area.
How do I book a job?
From Schedule or New booking: pick the technician, enter customer name/phone/address, date, time, duration, job type, notes, then analyze and save.
How long can a booking be?
From 30 minutes to 12 hours, so full-day installs and long landscaping or snow jobs fit on the board.
Can I import my existing customers or jobs?
Not yet — bookings are added manually for now; bulk import is on our roadmap.
What regions does Navigrate work in?
Anywhere Google Maps can find the addresses you book.
Can I switch km/miles or 24h/12h?
Yes, both in Settings.
Plans & billing
What plans do you offer?
After the 14-day trial (full features, up to 3 technicians), four paid plans that differ only by technician cap — all include the full feature set: Solo $19/mo (1 tech), Starter $29/mo (up to 3), Team $69/mo (up to 10), Business $129/mo (up to 25). Annual billing saves ~30%.
What counts as a technician?
One crew, truck or person you schedule counts as one technician. Plans are priced by how many you add to your roster, because that's how the board schedules jobs. A crew of three in one truck is one technician. If you run the jobs yourself, add yourself.
How does the free trial work?
14 days, full features, up to 3 technicians, no card. When it ends, pick a plan.
How do I upgrade or change my plan?
From the Plan page in the app: choose a plan to start checkout, or use "Manage billing" to switch plans, update payment methods, or cancel in the Billing Portal.
Do you offer refunds?
If you start on an annual plan, you have a 14-day money-back guarantee: email info@navigrate.com within 14 days of that first annual payment and we'll refund it in full and cancel the subscription. It doesn't cover renewals or switching from monthly to annual, and annual payments aren't refunded after those 14 days. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime and stay active until the end of the month you paid for, but we don't refund partial periods. If a charge looks wrong, email info@navigrate.com and we'll sort it out.
Can I pause my plan for the off-season?
There's no pause option. You can cancel for the off-season instead, and your board, technicians and job history stay. Once the period you paid for ends, you can still open, view and edit what's there, but you can't add new bookings or technicians. When work starts again, pick a plan from the Plan page.
