ServiceTitan alternatives

ServiceTitan alternatives for small field-service shops

Options with published prices, what a 3-technician shop pays for each, and when staying on ServiceTitan makes sense.

Prices checked on vendor sites 16–17 Sep 2026

ServiceTitan is a full platform built for trades of any size. If you run a small shop, you may want to compare it with tools that publish their prices and let you try them first. Here are five alternatives with published prices, plus the case for staying.

Who wrote this: Navigrate, one of the options below. We've tried to be fair: every price links to the vendor's own page, and we say plainly where others do more than we do.

Reasons to compare

  • Prices aren't published: pricing is per technician, and every tier asks you to request pricing.
  • There's no free trial. You book a demo instead.
  • Onboarding is a guided program, with a customer success manager after you go live.
  • Its advanced routing, Dispatch Pro, is sold as an upgrade.

The options

2. All-in-one suite

Jobber

A full back-office suite for home-service businesses: quotes, invoicing, payments, client hub, scheduling and, on Connect and up, GPS and route optimization.

Best for
Shops that want quotes, invoicing, payments and scheduling in one app, including route optimization.
Pricing
Teams of 2 to 5 people (5 users included): Connect $199, Grow $299, Plus $499 a month, or $149, $229 and $399 a month billed yearly. For 1 user: Core $49, Connect $139, Grow $199 a month. Below Plus, add-ons such as Receptionist ($29), Pipeline ($49) and Marketing Suite ($99) cost extra.
Routing
Routing and GPS start on Connect; Core has neither. Route optimization re-orders anytime visits (no set start time) for up to 7 days at a time.
Watch for
Core is for 1 user only, so a 3-person team starts at Connect.

Housecall Pro

An all-in-one suite for residential home-service pros: scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoicing and payments, with routes on Essentials and one-click route optimization on MAX.

Basic $79 (1 user), Essentials $189 (5 users), MAX $329 (8 users, then $35 a month per extra user) a month; $59, $149 and $299 a month billed yearly. Some add-ons, such as AI call answering, payroll and dashcams, are priced separately.
Routing
Scheduling and dispatch on every plan. Routes and a GPS map of your team start on Essentials. One-click route optimization is on MAX.
Watch for
Basic covers 1 user, so a 3-person team usually starts at Essentials. Introductory offers come and go; compare the regular price.

4. Job-priced suite

ServiceM8

A job management suite priced by the number of jobs you do each month, with unlimited users on paid plans and Auto Routing on every plan.

Best for

Pricing
Free (30 jobs a month, 1 user), then unlimited users: Starter $29 (50 jobs), Growing $79 (150 jobs), Premium $149 (500 jobs), Premium Plus $349 (1,500 jobs, then 20¢ a job) a month.

What Navigrate doesn't do

  • Quotes, invoicing, payments or a customer database. Keep your accounting tool for those.
  • Route optimization. It won't re-order a day's stops; it checks each booking's drive as you make it.
  • Real road distances or traffic. The drive check is a fast straight-line estimate.
  • Importing jobs or customers. Jobs are added as you book them for now.
  • Customer reminders or texts, or repeating jobs.
  • A phone app. Navigrate runs in any web browser, including on a phone.

Switching, honestly

There's no import into Navigrate yet. Enter next week's jobs by hand and run both tools side by side for a week before you decide.

If you leave ServiceTitan completely, you'll need somewhere else for estimates, invoicing and payroll. Navigrate doesn't do those; Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceM8 cover estimates and invoicing.

We couldn't find ServiceTitan's contract terms on its website, so check yours before you cancel.

Navigrate's trial is 14 days with every feature, up to 3 technicians, and no card.

Common questions

How much does ServiceTitan cost?
ServiceTitan doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page says pricing is per technician, and each tier asks you to request pricing. We haven't listed third-party estimates because we can't check them.
Does ServiceTitan have a free trial?
Its pricing page offers a free demo rather than a trial. Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceM8 and Navigrate each offer a 14-day free trial with no card.
Which alternative is closest to ServiceTitan?
For an all-in-one with published prices, Jobber and Housecall Pro are the closest on this list: both do estimates, invoicing, payments, GPS and route optimization on higher plans. Navigrate isn't a replacement; it's a dispatch board with a drive check at booking.
Is ServiceTitan only for big contractors?
Its site says it serves commercial and residential trades at any size. Its demo request form asks whether you have at least one full-time office employee.
How were these prices checked?
On each vendor's own pricing page on 16 and 17 Sep 2026, using monthly billing with no commitment, in US dollars. Prices change, so confirm on the vendor's site before you decide.
